Indochino Seattle

A Man About Style

In the words of Jay-Z "nobody's built like you, you have to design yourself." Many of us feel that buying made to measure is out of reach, even if our we are far from the "average body type." With this in mind, Indochino set out to make buying made to measure convent, cost-effective and accessible. The Canadian based retailer was the first company to deliver mass customized men's clothing directly to consumers and remains the largest in the world. Today we will guild you through two tailored Indochino experiences.  For the progressive, buying a made to measure suit is now only one click away. For the classic man, the revered relationship between a man and his tailor still holds value.

Step 1: GET MEASURED

The progressive:

Like most men, the toils of life seem to always be beckoning. When you shop, you are well educated about what you want. Since you are a self-starter in all things, you elect to go to indochino.com.  There are a lucky few who have their measurements in hand. If that isn't your story? Relax, all you need is a few minutes on your feet and a friend that can read a measuring tape.  After that, just follow the step by step video prompts and enter your measurements. The final process is to set up your measurement profile, which will take less than 10 minutes and can be done from anywhere you choose.

The Classic Man:

One of the amenities of buying bespoke attire is that customer service is not a suggestion.  As men, we have few sanctuaries. Like the barbershop, an Indochino showroom is a place for free thought and expression.  We at AMAS suggest you visit the new Seattle location, but they the have many beautiful spaces across the United States and Canada. Upon arrival, the vibes and ambiance make you feel comfortable. Once checked in, your suiting professional will take your measurements.  During this process, you are encouraged to be yourself. If you desire peace from the hustle and bustle, this is your refuge. Here at A Man About Style, we promote the art of healthy conversation and dialogue, since we all can learn from the stories and experiences of others.

The Progressive:

While online you will be given the option to choose your garment by model, fabric or color. As a seasoned shopper, you can easily find out the garments makeup. Other running details include garment care, season suggestions, and wardrobe functionality.

The classic Man:

You know that fabric choice is the key to longevity. So being able to discuss how a piece of fabric will  breath always be useful to you. An advantage of visiting a showroom is the ability to see how vibrant a color or pattern is. The sharp dresser also knows texture is as big apart of putting an outfit together as color or design. If you are a novice or veteran the interpersonal connection, you will have with your suiting professional will prove valuable for education and inspiration.

Step 3: Customizations

The Progressive and "Classic" man both have similar experiences when it comes to customization. Indochino has a vast selection of options from lapel types,  jacket vents, buttons, and monogramming.  We do suggest when customizing your garment less is more. If your suit is muted, go bold with your inside liner or vice versa. Whatever you choose make sure that the clothing reflects an image befitting your best self. Indochino is here to inspire confidence that people can admire.
