Mending Has Never Looked So Good - How To Sew Sashiko

“I am reminded that every day I have the chance to pick up a needle and some thread and add to the story. - Jackson Greer

Just like your story, your threads will go through mending, stitching, and repairing. Join AMAS at The Works, Seattle, with Erin Eggenburg as we take a crash course on visible mending.

About The Works Seattle

Making art, cooking, learning new things, and connecting over shared interests is our small contribution to making the world a better place. Nurturing our community is core to who we are and we live by the motto that everyone is welcome at The Works, always.

The Works started as a DIY school for adults, offering in-person experience-based learning in Seattle. As challenging as the Covid-19 pandemic has been for individuals and small businesses, it sparked us into bringing an idea we've always had to life. We've distilled the magic of our in-person classes into DIY Kits, complete with materials, detailed instructions, and a video to walk you through your projects. It's almost like having The Works in your home!
