Who makes 8000 kicks?
Straight outta the lore of the cult classic, How High, Co-founder Bernardo recently moved back to Portugal. After a few brews and spliffs with the homies, the guys chanced upon a timeless idea: a shoe made for smoking.
Unlike most under the influence ideas, Bernardo followed through! He started by asking Otilia - his grandmother, with over 50 years of textiles experience - if it were possible.
The answer was a resounding yes and the rest, of course, is history. These amazing hemp shoes exist, and the world is better for it.
Let's talk about the Explorer V2
The Explorer V2 is minimalist yet versatile enough for the indoors or great outdoors. It is comfortable, looks great, and is eco-friendly. Here's an interesting fact: hemp is a temperature regulating material (which makes it perfect for footwear) and has anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties. Clean, comfy, and made from the best things, the EV2 can't miss!
Care:
I don't suggest machine washing these bad boys as it might compromise the waterproofing and damage the shoe's ability to repel liquids and dust. Instead, hand wash them with warm water and soap. Take care of your shoes and they'll take care of you.
Tips:
They only are sold in whole sizes, so if you are unsure of your measurements, size up. The shoes observe the international sizing standards followed by Nike and Adidas.
Pros:
These kicks are light, fashionable, and environmentally safe. They will enhance your style instead of cramping it.
Cons:
These shoes aren't that versatile as far as dressing them up. They work well with your casual outfits but aren't all in on your black-tie ensemble.

Some couples come together for their shared characteristics and similarities. Other pairings attract like magnets with intense polarities because of diverging histories and personality differences. Though the flavors may be varied, the critical ingredients often remain intact: patience, kindness, fidelity, and unity. These components (along with a dash of curiosity) forge an unseen tether—the spiritual, mental, and sexual bond which is as old as time itself.

There is a trade-off rarely mentioned in Disney films. A truth often found slightly beyond the raging hormones of adolescence: Love hurts.
It hurts deep. It hurts bad. Lost love is an enduring burn because it doesn't play out the way you would have wanted. Fate can be a fickle mistress. When things were good? They were great! When they are abysmal? That's a whole different story. Have you ever noticed that Disney deliberately fades The Little Mermaid out before her first argument with Prince Charming can hit the screen? Yeah. Movies... am I right? You know how it goes. In that fake, 2D world, they all live "Happily Ever After." In our 3D reality, there IS a "thingamabob" you will struggle to comprehend, and it's called "passive-aggressiveness."
Once the honeymoon phase wears off, those cute smiles and coy winks give way to rolled eyes and defiant glances. Then (months later), when enough is enough, and you're both nearing the expiration date? Someone whips out an intractable statement, feelings are severely damaged, and the writing magically appears on the wall. In time, the perfect insta-couple will split up, you will break down, and you both simultaneously play the roles of victor and victim to your poor friends (while swiping left and right furiously at 2am). This part really, really sucks.
Unfortunately, we aren't finished. What comes next? Lonely nights. A good cry. Solitude. Extended time alone.
It isn't easy going from a duet to a solo, but it is necessary for the trade-off to lock-in. At this point, you may be wondering, "what is this trade-off you keep mentioning, AMAS?" Oh, my bad. The trade-off is personal growth. Inner strength. Wisdom (see Eccl 1:18).
With your love lost, life may seem a bit bland...flavorless, but it's only temporary. I assure you, this is the time for your personal metamorphosis. To gain. To learn. To grow.

Today we are going to be showing you an unboxing and give a quick review of the the maxwell stripe long parka. This is a mid-weight, water-resistant, hooded parka.
This parka retails for $295.00 and it comes in three colors black with a white stripe, navy with a red stripe or khaki with a red stripe. These jackets are made from 3-layer waterproof, windproof fabrics that have 4-way stretch. This is ideal for anyone who lives in a moderate climate or those who are looking for a stylish transitional jacket.
Whats is it made of:
The shell of this coat is 91% polyester and 9% spandex. The lining is 90% nylon, 10% spandex. As far as care goes it is recommended that you machine wash it in warm on a gentle cycle and hang dry.
On a non-apparel note North and Mark nails it when it comes to presentation. Imagine if I give you an expensive gift and I just wrapped it in two plastic bags. Now you would be graceful in receiving the gift but you might feel like I didn’t put much thought into the gift. Now If I gave you that same gift, but it was wrapped perfectly with a note inside, the presentation would make you feel even more valued. Yet many retailers give like the first scenario. So its refreshing when a retailer gives you an appealing package that contains a nice garment bag as well. Some of the other pros besides presentation come down to the small details.
Pros:
The reversible reflective cuffs - these are perfect for those who bike or walk for their commute.
Plenty of pockets - there are two front pockets with two mesh pockets on the inside for keeping belongs safe without making you look bulky
It’s machine washable - the less things you have to dry clean are always beneficial to your wallet.
It’s easy to style casually or formally.
The Cons:
Smudges - the khaki color way does tend to show dirt and smudges so aim for a darker color if you have a more active lifestyle.
